Founded by Lindsay Conrad, Language Arts reflects a lifelong passion for education, art, culture, language, mentorship, and experiential learning. Lindsay is a former Massachusetts high school Italian teacher with bachelor's and master's degrees in Italian Linguistics from Middlebury College. She has lived and studied throughout Italy and brings firsthand knowledge of the country's language, history, and culture into every lesson.
In addition to her teaching background, Lindsay holds a Doctorate in Natural Health, and has completed advanced studies in Ayurvedic Medicine under Dr. Vasant Lad. Lindsay also holds two certifications in Life Coaching and Solution-Focused Life Coaching, Her interdisciplinary background allows her to support students academically while also helping them develop confidence, resilience, executive functioning, healthy relationships, and the life skills needed to thrive.
At Language Arts, we believe education extends far beyond the classroom. Through hands-on projects, meaningful conversations, cultural immersion, creative expression, and real-world experiences, students discover not only new subjects, but also greater confidence in themselves.
